M Phil in Educational Leadership

Key Features of the Program:

MPhil in Education Leadership is designed with the purpose of preparing competent human resource in the field of educational leadership who could contribute to the field through research and publications, teaching, and leading and managing education programs/institutes.  Specific purpose of the course is to see that the students are:

  • knowledgeable on recent trends and discourses on education leadership and its dimensions at the national and international level
  • capable to contribute to knowledge building through academic and professional engagements
  • capable in planning, designing, and carryout research with high academic standard
  • competent in leading and managing education institutions/programs
  • competent in teaching and training
  • knowledgeable of situations on educational leadership and their dimensions in Nepal and other parts of the world
  • able to assess the challenges and opportunities in the field of educational leadership and develop modalities to address those challenges

* Students have to select any one of the two courses either EDUC 621 or EDUC 622
