  8. One confounding factor when trying to figure out the effeciency of higher speed driving is that it requires more attention for a given level of risk. Some of the slower drivers might prefer to be able to devote more of their attention to conversation or a podcast, and therefore prefer to drive in a way that requires fewer decisions.

  10. About Houston and Silicon Vally… During the 70s (and maybe even to this day, for all I know) Houston was the non-military supercomputer center of the world. All those oil companies needed to do a lot of signal processing and “big data” analysis to figure out where to dig and what oil field plots to buy. Doing all that seismic signal processing to figure out where the oil is took the biggest computers around (back in those days one often had “array processors” (kinda like GPUs) attached to the supercomputers of the day).

  11. This is a comment to the webmaster. Your Master of Philosophy (MPhil) | KUSOED website is missing out on at least 300 visitors per day. I have found a company which offers to dramatically increase your traffic to your website: They offer 500 free visitors during their free trial period and I managed to get over 15,000 visitors per month using their services, you could also get lot more targeted traffic than you have now. Hope this helps 🙂 Take care.
